Terms of consultation

1. The service

MaerVision provides vision checks and consultations with optometrist Neha Kulkarni, in person at Kandivali West and, for the consultation, by video. The service is for adults aged 18 and over.

2. Booking

A request made on this site is not a confirmed booking. A visit is booked once we reply and agree a time with you. Saturday evening times are usually allocated about a week in advance.

3. Fees

Fees are charged in Indian rupees as shown on the consultation fees page: vision check ₹650, screen-day consultation ₹900, both together ₹1,350, follow-up check ₹350, video consultation ₹600. Fees may change, and that page shows the current figures.

4. Scope

MaerVision does not treat medical conditions, prescribe medicines, perform surgery or sell frames and lenses. A written prescription from a vision check may be used at any optical shop of your choice.

5. Video consultations

A video consultation is a conversation. It includes neither a vision check nor a prescription, which are given only at a visit to the room.

6. Guides

The eye-break guide describes comfort habits for general information. It is not treatment and does not replace a vision check.

7. Attendance

Please arrive at the time agreed and bring your current glasses if you wear any. If you are late, the visit may be shortened so that the next person is not kept waiting.

8. Changes to a booking

Please tell us by phone or email as early as you can if a time must change, so that the slot can be offered to someone else.

9. Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fee paid for the visit. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
